Every batch brings with it a new set of faces, fresh perspectives, and endless possibilities. While the batch pitch may have lasted only a few minutes on stage, the conversations it inspired continued even after our presentation came to an end.
Following the pitch, a dedicated Q&A session gave the juniors an opportunity to interact with us. One by one, students came forward with their questions—some wanted to understand what being a part of InkSleuths was really like, others were curious about the recruitment process, the kind of work we do, and the experiences that come with being a member. It was refreshing to see such thoughtful questions and genuine enthusiasm. Rather than feeling like a formal interaction, it felt like an honest exchange between seniors who had once been in the very same seats and juniors eager to begin their own journey.
We answered each question with complete honesty, sharing our personal experiences and encouraging everyone to choose a club that truly aligned with their interests rather than simply following the crowd. If writing, creativity, public speaking, design, or storytelling resonated with them, we hoped InkSleuths would feel like a place where those interests could flourish.
With the excitement from the batch pitch still fresh, the club recruitment process officially began as we rolled out the registration forms. It was wonderful to see students taking the first step towards becoming a part of the club. The interviews and selection process are still ahead, but the enthusiasm reflected in every question and every registration has already made this recruitment season incredibly rewarding.
Perhaps the most meaningful realization has been that we have now stepped into the shoes of the seniors we once looked up to. A year ago, we were the ones listening to club pitches and asking questions. This year, we stood on the other side of the stage, answering those very questions and helping the next batch take its first step.
As we look forward to the next stages of recruitment, one thing remains certain—InkSleuths has always been more than a club. It is a community built on stories, creativity, and people who inspire one another. And with every new batch, that story continues to grow.
