On 29th July 2017, SIBM H witnessed its 3rd edition of Symbi Talks- a platform where experts from varied industries share their experiences and valuable insights on management. The event was organised by the corporate interaction cell and was attended by students and faculty of SIBM H. The theme for the event was multi facets of management. The venue for the event was convention hall and it commenced at 10:00 am.
The guest speakers were Col. P V Sivaram from military college of EME Secunderabad. He spoke about leadership and shared anecdotes from his life. The next speaker was Mr. SyamaSunkara, Managing partner Global consulting practice, TCS. He enlightened the students by laying emphasis on branding. He was very interactive with the students and mentioned best case practices.
We also hosted Ms. Lajja Patel, SIU Alumni, AVP corporate banking HSBC. She presented on integrating technology with operations and constant innovation in services.
The last speaker for the day was Mr Nishit Lal- a well-known motivational guru, author and TedX speaker. He shared his personal life experiences and inspired the students to keep dreaming big and to never give up. His energetic personality kept the audience engaged.
The event was a grand success as not only did the students benefit out of it but the faculty was also seen participating.The day ended around 4:30 pm.
