It was almost 5 in the evening, and the sun was all set to bid farewell for the day as a buzz of excitement filled the air of SIBM on Freshers 2022. The campus was colorful and vibrant, with black, blue, pink, and purple hues. Freshers 2022 was a week-long program with induction sessions conducted throughout the week for different clubs and committees. It started with “Clueminati 2.0,” a treasure hunt event organized by Mélange, followed by other events conducted by other clubs and committees.
After a year and a half of online celebrations, finally, SIBM, Hyderabad got the opportunity to celebrate Fresher’s event offline. With high spirits, anchors Harsh Mishra and Tiasha Halder kickstarted the event, “Euphoria – Freshers 2022”. The show was filled with scintillating performances by Antardhwani’s Team Aaroh, Team Abhinay, Team Panache, and Team Vibe. After Antardhwani’s performances, the six finalists for Mr. and Ms. Freshers also displayed their talent, followed by a ‘Rapid Fire’ round that was bang on. After a voting poll by the audience, Punyashlok Mohapatra and Swagata Dutta won the titles for Mr. and Ms. Freshers, respectively.
After some beautiful moments spent and enjoyed in the auditorium, it was time for a sumptuous dinner arranged by MessComm, followed by a DJ night where the entire premise of SIBM echoed with energy and enthusiasm.
With some memories captured in the camera and many others treasured in our hearts, Fresher’s Day 2022 was a huge hit and a memorable night.
