When I first stepped into Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Hyderabad, I didn’t quite know how much I could grow or improve as a person. The thought of balancing classes, activities, presentations, discussions, and personal time seemed like an impossible puzzle. But one thing became very clear right from the start—I was going to improve. If not naturally, it was going to be my responsibility. Somehow, I knew I’d grow.
The atmosphere here is electric. The culture doesn’t just emphasize learning business frameworks or acing exams. It’s about excellence and perfection in every single moment. From the way we interact in classrooms to how we collaborate in committees, from the events we organize to the presentations we deliver-the goal is always to improve, refine, and elevate. It’s about producing better ideas, sharper insights, and impactful experiences. That’s the heartbeat of SIBM Hyderabad.
What makes this experience beautiful is exactly that: it’s an opportunity to keep improving yourself. Nothing feels more fulfilling than realizing your own potential bit by bit.
One of the moments I will always cherish happened during my journey so far-a moment I still smile about when I think of it. I was given the opportunity to moderate a panel discussion. And o at that point, I didn’t know if I would be able to pull it off. The thought of standing in front of an audience, steering conversations between experienced panelists, and maintaining the flow seemed like a mountain I couldn’t climb.
But that’s the magic of SIBM Hyderabad. The constant push from seniors in the InkSleuths committee, the support from my peers, and the guidance of everyone involved gave me the confidence to take that leap. And now, when I look back, I’m filled with pride. I enjoyed every second of it-the nerves, the preparation, the live interactions, and most of all, the sheer happiness of accomplishing something I once thought was beyond me.
Of course, MBA life isn’t all panels and presentations. There are late-night group discussions over cups of coffee, endless case study debates, that adrenaline rush during competitions, the struggle of balancing deadlines, and the pure joy of making new friends who are as ambitious, passionate as you are. It’s messy, it’s challenging, and it’s fun in the most unpredictable way.
But at the core of all this chaos is growth. Growth that happens when you least expect it, when you take up a challenge you never imagined, when you look back and realize you’re not the same person who walked in on Day 1.
SIBM Hyderabad has not just been a place to study business. It has been a place to study myself. And I’m excited to keep evolving.
