My experience at SIBM Hyderabad so far has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. I had always heard and read about what the MBA journey feels like, but living it firsthand is a whole new story. It has been hectic, challenging, yet deeply enriching. Every single day here pushes me to be a better version of myself, to step up, and to make choices that truly shape who I am becoming.
Academics form the foundation of this journey, and I am slowly learning how to keep pace with the rigour. Presentations, submissions, and deadlines arrive one after another, sometimes leaving me breathless, but each task teaches me something new. Managing this workload has not only tested my discipline but has also taught me resilience. At the same time, I find myself fascinated by the subjects we are exploring. They are dynamic, practical, and very different from what I studied during my undergraduate years. Each lecture feels like an opportunity to expand my perspective, not just on management but also on how businesses and people function in the real world. Even though the pace is fast, the learning is engaging and makes me want to keep going.
Life at SIBM Hyderabad, however, is not confined to classrooms. Being part of the Corporate Interaction Cell has been an eye-opening experience. It has given me the chance to interact with industry leaders and to understand how professionalism works outside textbooks. Organizing events under this cell has taught me the value of responsibility, teamwork, and coordination. It has boosted my confidence and helped me slowly discover the balance between academics and co-curricular engagements. It is a balance that I am still learning to master, but every step forward feels like progress.
The Literary Committee has been another space of growth and creativity for me. Our brainstorming sessions are always filled with energy, as we toss around ideas and dream of events we can bring to life. The thought of organizing book fairs and open mics excites me because it is a space where stories, voices, and creativity come together. Being part of this committee allows me to express myself while learning to collaborate with others in building something meaningful for the student community.
And then there is the cultural life on campus, which truly makes the MBA experience wholesome. Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi away from home was a moment filled with warmth, togetherness, and a sense of family even in a hostel environment. The Bollywood Night was another unforgettable evening, filled with games, laughter, music, and the joy of dressing up with friends. There was something magical about those girlhood moments of getting ready together, sharing excitement, and creating memories that I know I will cherish for years to come.
Looking back at these first few months, I realize that this journey is much more than I had imagined. It is not just about academics or events but about growth, learning, and self-discovery. It is about finding the courage to embrace challenges and the strength to keep going despite them. As I continue navigating this path, I know there is a lot more to experience and even more to learn. The road ahead looks promising, and I am truly excited to see where it takes me.
