Some journeys don’t just teach you—they change you. My internship at V Axis LEARNING,
an insurance company with a vision bigger than just selling policies, turned out to be one
such journey.
When I joined, I was asked to describe myself in one word. I said HUMAN. Back then, I didn’t
think much of it. But today, I realize that this word captured everything I
experienced—connection, vulnerability, growth, and understanding.
This internship wasn’t about sitting behind a desk or memorizing products. It was about
people. It was about learning how to have conversations that matter—ones that start with
listening and end with trust. We practiced role plays, faced our fears, and stepped up in ways
we hadn’t before.
One of the moments that will always stay with me was speaking in front of 120 people at
RBVRR College. As someone who used to be afraid of public speaking, that day felt like a
personal victory. I surprised myself—and that’s what real learning feels like.
The support and mentorship of Dilip Sir and Vikas Sir made all the difference. They didn’t
just train us—they guided us, believed in us, and helped us bring out the best in ourselves.
With their encouragement, I found my voice—not just as a student, but as someone ready to
make an impact.
At SIBM Hyderabad, we’re taught to lead with empathy, curiosity, and courage. This
internship brought all of that to life. It reminded me that behind every product is a person,
and behind every pitch is a purpose.
And for that, I’ll always be grateful.
