My Ongoing SIP Journey at Kaveti International Law Firm – Learning in Motion

As part of my MBA curriculum, I am currently undergoing my Summer Internship Program (SIP)
at Kaveti International Law Firm, a globally emerging legal firm known for its dynamic
presence in corporate law, media engagement, and strategic legal advisory. This experience so
far has been incredibly enriching, offering me exposure to real-world challenges in Human
Resources and Business Development.

Real-Time Exposure to Strategy and Operations
Right from the start, I was brought into the fold of strategic initiatives, including crafting a 30-
60-90-day business expansion roadmap for the firm. My work focuses on expanding the
firm’s presence in the corporate and technology sectors across Hyderabad and Andhra
Pradesh. This includes:

  • Researching key industry associations and potential business leads
  • Analysing competing legal firms to understand their market positioning
  • Designing targeted engagement plans for professionals in the Tollywood film and
    entertainment industry
Being part of these planning discussions has given me a hands-on understanding of how a law
firm can position itself as both a legal advisor and a brand.

HR Planning and Outreach – Building the Talent Ecosystem
In parallel, I’ve been actively involved in the HR side of operations, focusing on recruitment and
onboarding of interns in law, journalism, and mass communication. Some key tasks include:

  • Creating detailed onboarding and task plans for upcoming intern batches
  • Reaching out to colleges across India to connect with placement heads and directors
  • Coordinating plans to promote legal awareness through college radio collaborations
These responsibilities are helping me develop my organizational, communication, and planning
skills—skills that are essential for an HR professional operating in a fast-paced sector.
    Key Takeaways So Far
  • Strategic Thinking in Action: I’m learning how legal firms grow beyond traditional
    roles into multifaceted consultancies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interacting with internal teams, college authorities, and
industry professionals is teaching me the art of relationship building.
  • Execution with Flexibility: Balancing multiple projects while aligning them with real-time changes has taught me the importance of staying agile.
    Looking Ahead
Though my SIP is still in progress, the journey so far has been nothing short of transformative.
I’m excited about what lies ahead—especially diving deeper into outreach execution and being
part of impactful talent acquisition. I look forward to contributing more and learning from every
    step of the process
