Palms all sweaty and fear in your eyes? barely surviving? Is it all overwhelming? – it’s absolutely okay to not be okay, we all are put into tough situations, only because we have it in us to overcome it- could sound fancy, but, hear me out, it’s absolutely okay to not be okay in those situations, it okay to showcase emotions, it’s absolutely okay to go all hysteric before doing the task that scared you, Its okay to have huge mental breakdowns when things get tough, it’s okay to lean on to your friends when things don’t go your way, it’s okay to ask for help, all of the humanness in its raw unfiltered state is acceptable.
Few of you who are reading this right now might be like – why do something scary? Why do something that I am not great at? – Let me first practice, let me get used to it, let me achieve perfection before performing anything anywhere – dear lovely reader, at this rate, it will take you forever to do it. When opportunities are flying your way, grab them with both of your hands and seize them
The most important part of not being okay with something is how quickly you start being okay with it – bounce back time – are you taking a day? Two days? Five days? A week? – process your emotions, all of your emotions, do whatever helps you the best – long crying sessions, tons of rest, self-care, be it anything – get your head back in the game as quickly as you can because while it is okay for us to not be okay, the world stops for none. Let’s learn to take the needed pauses required and energies ourselves regularly, let’s learn to face our fears head-on.
