Symbiनीति: The Management Conclave

21st November 2022

“The world hates change, yet it is the only thing that has brought  progress.”– Charles Kettering.

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad (SIBM-H), is pleased to host the 1st edition of ‘Symbiनीति ’- The Management Conclave on 17th December 2022. This event is a platform that fosters a discussion amongst various industry personnel on current topics, with the students having an opportunity to acquire insights from these exchanges.

With organizations moving from being volatile and uncertain to being brittle and non-linear, business functions today have undergone a drastic change, and this change has been subliming. Throughout this process, employee well-being has been the center of focus. To know the implications of this transition, we bring the theme for this event, Business: Behind the scenes.

Symbineeti - The Management Conclave

The conclave is intended to address two of the most pressing issues confronting businesses today. The primary emphasis would be identifying the transition from a VUCA to a BANI environment. Just as we thought, the pandemic had confirmed our world’s status as VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous), and we began to hear that this acronym may be becoming obsolete. Yet, we are now living in an environment what some refer to as the BANI world. This transitional phenomenon includes new-age learning, thought leadership, moonlighting, and other trends, as well as how to deal with them.

This shift can be viewed as a continuous phenomenon in which we strive to achieve our corporate objectives. Along with this shift, we can recognize that improving mental health is as important as increasing productivity. Financial and emotional factors, in addition to cognitive components, influence our daily actions. Organizations are now focusing on this component and attempting to incorporate it into their lives to overcome social and psychological barriers.

The event’s outcome is to recognize management executives’ accomplishments in addressing these looming problems. Their perspectives and tales will lead the students and give them a glimpse of the future.
